The First Worship service of Gateway Baptist Church was held on November 16, 1997 at the Little River Community Center.

One Year after our first meeting, land was purchased on Chambers Loop Road. This would be the place where we would build God’s church.

 

On August 1, 1999, we held our groundbreaking service. 

 

In April of 2000, the church building was complete; and the first worship services were held. At that time, our Church was dedicated to the service of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

 

November 11, 2018 marked our 21st year of worshiping here at Gateway. God has blessed us in so many ways. We have seen miracle after miracle. We have laughed and cried. Through it all, God has been here for us, in the good times and in the bad. May everything that is said and done here always be pleasing in His sight.

On June 2, 2019 we had our second ground breaking ceremony for the start of the addition of our new sanctuary. God has blessed us in so many ways here at Gateway and we were able to dedicate our new building in June of  2020.
